more newb questions.. 94lt1
would a 96pcm work with a 94pcm? IE can i use a 96 pcm and load a 94lt1 bin into it? I just happen to have a spare 96lt1 pcm..
also.. what is the diff from a std trans. pcm and an auto? I have pcm from auto but am driving a std. (T5)

The 95 is flashable, I don't know if the 94 is a memcal or flash.

94-97 all flash. there are some pin location changes. 96-97 isd obd2. 94-95 is obd1 with obd2 connector.
ive done lots of tunning with lt1 pcms. what exactly are you attempting to do. i can offer some help for sure.

i don't understand the tables is the big problem.. i don't understand how MAP is relitive to RPM .. and how it works with spark advance..
basicly want to advance timing if i can and get fuel under control.. think it is way too rich at WOT.
basicly trying to add power.. but don't understand the fundementals.
my question on the pcm it self was whether i could reprogram the 96pcm to be = to the 94.. ie obd1.. just so i'd have a replacement.. I got it for $25cdn and since they're out of 94-95pcms it would cost over $150 to get one..
