Are these timing figures a bit tohigh??

I've done a search to get an idea of what people are running in regards to total timing, but have not found anything.

Combo=383,190AFR heads,219 cam, mini-ram II, LPE 1-3/4 long tubes, auto, w/2600stall, and yes still 2.59 rear gears(no joking HAHA), 58MM TB, 11:1 Compression, converted to 730ECM. I think that covers the important parts??

I'm running 6* base timing, and 38* at 100KPA up to about 4800RPM, then it goes to 35*. My problem is I'm having problems with this thing not wanting to rev past 5400RPM. It will rev, but it's a dead stick power wise. I've played with the fuel, and timing. I'm dropped the timing down to about 30* max, and it seem to run worse through the whole RPM range. Lower fuel seems to cause less power, and surging through the RPM range. I increased fuel with no help. It's just that this seems like a lot of timing?? For some reason my brain is stuck on it being a timing issue??

Next question is should I maybe start looking at fuel system? It's a stock replacement pump, and 24# SVO injectors. with fuel pressure set at or near 43PSI w/vac on. @ idle
