730 & Low-Z Injectors?

730 & Low-Z Injectors?
Can the 730 ECM be modified like the 749 to run eight low-z injectors? From my understanding, these ECM's are virtually identical (functionally), but heard this is not possible. Is the internal construction so different that it's physically more difficult to replace the sense resistors and transistors in a 730?

if you are real ambitious, you could get parts from a spare 730, and put in the transistor and chip and other parts into your good 730 board to make it similar to a 749. You could also change current sense resistors to handle the current too, I think.

Probably yes, it could also be a problem on the 749 with to much current througt the board, so its best to add a jumper from the driver to a xtra pin......
