surging problem
surging problem
finally was able to make my 730 ecm work on my miniram 383. i removed the miniram and replaced it with a superram and now i'm having issues with surging at idle in the 8-900 rpm difference range going from 1,000 to almost 2,000. this would make the car virtually impossible to drive and after spending most of the weekend trying to track down the problem i'm at a loss.
anyone have any ideas what perameters could have changed causing the motor to do this?

I'd venture a guess your lean for some reason, and it's the anti-stall stuff at work.
definately trying to go lean and the "anti" computer essence is a problem. i'm going to go over all the mechanics again before i ask any more questions but it's just not adding up.
the car ran great when i removed the miniram and although the superram is a different intake entirely i figure it ought to be in the ball park if that's all i changed so it must be in the mechanics as no matter how much spark i pull/add as well as fuel nothing changes.
any other suggestions i greatly appreciate it, i won't bother to ask anymore until i'm 100% certain the mechanics are perfect.
