flag question in 6E

I running TunerproRT, 165 ecm with 6E. Under flags 4th air flow, bit 5 labled FANNO, item comments are "N.O. COOLING FAN REQ INPUT".
What does the N.O. stand for and does this need to be checked for the ECM to control the fans?

Its the cooling fan normally-on switch. For Vettes, the ECM controls the fan one way, and F-bodies the other. That is on for a vette is off for an F-body and vise-versa. To run an ARAP/APYP (Vette) bin on an F-body, you need to toggle this flag.

Isn't that actually the A/C pressure switch input type?
