Which "mask" to use

I just downloaded TunerPro today and I had found a bin file for the L03 I have from Moates website. The thing is the only supplied mask was $6E and I was looking through the values and some of the constants look really off. I have an 88 Camaro 305 TBI so which ECU file do I need, and does anyone have it.

Thanks

$6E is TPI, not TBI. Don't use it.

IIRC, the '88 TBI ran $4D on the 1228063 ECM, while the '89-'92 TBI used $61 on the 1228846.

You can find .ecu files for either at
http://www.moates.net/fileman/

Look in the folder labeled "binary editor definitions"

Anyway I can convert from the $61 to $4D. I have an lo5 bin that I would like to load to get started with my new 350 but I don't know if that will work seeing at how it is a different mask. Is it the same size (4k)???

With the C3 TBI ECMs the mask has to match the ECM. IOW, you can't run $61 in an '8063, nor the $42 mask in an 8746. This is because 2/3rd's of the code is in ROM.

Bring up the $61 (source) bin in a bin editor to view. Bring up the $4D bin in an editor to edit (destination). Copy the values from the source bin and enter them into the destination bin.

Between the two masks the actual calibration layouts will be very close. It will only be a matter of transfering the values from the source to the destination.
