fixed extended cranking, now...
it fires up and gives a quick stumble before resuming idle speed.
The original problem was solved by adjusting the lower 8 values in the crank fuel pulse width mult vs. ref pulses (l98 MAF, $6e mask.
Any ideas on what has to be changed to remedy this latest "hicup"?

On startup, the ecm will transistion from the crank PW to the MAF and any AFR adjustments. Could be a whole mess of things, there. Pretty much anything that controlles the initial choke to the AFR, spark transition, IAC openings, or even the lowermost MAF tables may need adjusting. Id say do some searches. Im sure similar issues have come up before.
The crank PW table itself may even be off. If youve changed injectors or fuel pressure, or made any mods to the motor then you have to go back and readjust it. Its also possible that jsut giving it the fuel right away while cranking might be a problem in itself.

fixed
I changed the 9th and 10th value to be inline with the previous four and everything's fine so far.
The 9th and 10th entry was where a multiplier of 0.5 was introduced (all 0s before that). Now entries 9 and 10 are consistent with the previous four. Let's hope that's it. Thanks for the input.
