help with moates ostrich
hey guys i just have a quick question. i downloaded a bin file that is similar to my seet up that i am going to run. i purchased a moates ostrich unit off of a guy here on thirdgen my problem is how do i upload the bin file to the ostrich unit. is ther software that i am supose to use with the ostrich unit. my computer doesnt reconize the ostrich unit so i thought that maybe that was the problem. i hope that i am explaining this right. thanks in advance.
You will need a laptop and Tunerpro RT. After installing Tunerpro RT, you will need to connect the laptop to craigs ostrich, plug in the ostrich to the cars computer, open the bin file using the correct ecu file, upload the bin to the ostrich using Tunerpro RT, and then enable emulation. There is a lot of info on marks site and on craig moates site. Check them out and dont forget to donate the $30 for Tunerpro RT. This tuning software is dynamite!

so you need to connect to the laptap to the car first in order to upload the file to the ostrich.

First thing you need to do is install the driver for the Ostrich. See Craig's web site for more info. www.moates.net
