Better than a chip burner, because you don't have to burn and replace chips. Just install it where the prom goes and it has a ribbon cable coming off it, so when you want to program, just plug that cable into your laptop, open the prominator program, select the .bin you want to upload, and hit send. Done, it's reprogrammed. Do it again and again and again, and never have to worry about burning and plugging, burning and plugging chips again. The cool thing is you can get a selector for it and it holds multiple programs (maybe 9 or 10, I can't remember for sure), so you can upload many programs and just select whichever one you want (Thats the RAD, RAD-E, Moates EX, or rotary DIP switch).
