Just tell Bill what computer you are running and he will be able to set you up. You won't need the adapter, you will need to cut a window in the case but it's really easy..... You're going to love it!!!!
You can set up 8 different bin files in it. One for smog, one for gas mileage, one for normal driving (whatever that is), one for all out power on the motor, one for all out power for Nitrous, One for valet mode, and two others just because......
BTW, get the rotary switch so you can switch while at a stop light. I'm not sure if you can switch programs while driving with the cheaper of the two options, I do know that you can with the more expensive unit.
FWIW: All the information you wanted is on this site if you use the search function. As long as you show that you've put some effort into answering your own question, these guys will jump to help you. They won't waste time on the lazy.....

The 89 chip are 128K. You can also stack the programs at 256K
I have the Prominator Pro and with the 128K (8 program setting).
I've ran in to a problem with the unit. I'm hopping its on my end so I can get my car running on the Prominator.
Bill provides everything.
