7747 Transmission Settings

Can anyone suggest some performance oriented changes that I can make to my bin to make the transmission and torque converter operate a little snappier? The trans shifts way too quick when warmed up now. I end up in the next gear way before the engine has time to get into the power band. I have adjusted the T.V. cable but the computer seems to take over some of the shift functions. When the car is cold the transmission seems to do better, more RPMs before the shift occurs.

the car is a 1988 Iroc Z-28, 700r4 trans 2025 RPM stall, 350 TBI vortec w/mild cam, 7747 ecu, ASDU bin

Also, Can I take the TCC and etc. info from my factory 8063 ecu. bin and add this information to my current bin? The 8063 ecu shifts better but of course there is not enough gas for the engine to run properly.

Thanks.

The ECM has no control over the shift points on a 700R4 transmission. They are controlled by the TV cable position and the governor.

The TCC tables can be copied over from the '8063 to the '7747. Most likely the layouts are the same or close to being the same.
