getting more SA resolution in 8D at cruise
Background: My engine happly cruises at 2200 at 35kpa with 34d of advance on a flat road with no wind, but I've always had this mushy spot at 40kpa where the timing was still 34d.
My solution: drop the SA from 34 to a max of 30 everywhere in the cruise area of the main SA table and then make use of the highway mode SA to add in 2d at 30kpa, 4d at 35kpa, 0d at 40kpa.
Worked like a charm. Engine happy... it's now crisp when the load transitions from 35kpa to 40kpa.
Anyhow, I mention here incase someone else is having the same problem and needs a hint.
