DynamicEFI.com EBL Flash programmable ECU w/port mod for TPI cars
Hey,
My project has taken a drastic turn and I no longer will be able to use this awesome Flash Programable ECU.
This ECU is well documented on Thirdgen.org to give unparalleled programmability for the very modest price compared to its competition.
I pad over $450 for this unit about 3 months ago. Also included is a high speed communications cable specifically for use with this real time tuning system.
I'm looking for $400 shipped. It's brand new.
Here is some information from Dynamic EFI website.
The EBL system sends ECM data to a laptop or PC running the What's Up Display program. It is simply the best and fastest data logger available for any GM ECM. The data stream contains all available engine and vehicle parameters.
Included on the EBL board is eight analog input channels. The data from these inputs is included real time with the ECM data. These analog inputs can be used for data logging WB O2 units, fuel pressure, and any other 0 to 5V linear device (accelerometer, oil pressure, oil temperature, suspension travel, and so on).
The software to run the engine is the result of years of effort. It has been enhanced to support engines from stock through high performance monsters. Handles boost to 30 psi. The EBL code provides functionality not found in stock ECMs. Wet N2O control, lean cruise, cranking prime pulses, ability to select open loop modes for cruise, decel or idle.
For example:
A real shift light
Soft touch rev limiter
1, 2 and 3-bar MAP support with boost SA retard and fuel multiplier tables
Spark tables are high resolution and full size up to 6,400 RPM
VE tables are high resolution and full size up to 8,000 RPM
Acceleration enrichment (AE) tables have been expanded
Changes to the fueling algorithms have been made to provide a smoother, stronger running engine.
Electric fan, upper/lower on/off thresholds and override temperature. MPH threshold shutoff along with PE mode shutoff
N2O wet system control: minimum MPH, TPS threshold, RPM window. Arming input
Smart A/C control: PE disable, upper/lower RPM shutoff, re-enable delay
Lean cruise mode for better fuel mileage
Open loop fueling modes
N-Alpha mode
Emissions functions: EGR, CCP, and closed loop fueling
For the Corvette CrossFire* folks your Digital Dash is supported. Your trip computer (DIC) will be functional
For '85 through '89 Corvette, Camaro, and Firebird TPI setups**, changing from a MAF set up to the EBL Flash ECM is a snap
The enhancements to the ECM code are too numerous to list. Once tuned your engine will run better then it ever has.
What Else is Required:
A BIN editor (such as WinBIN or TunerPro)
Laptop*** for data logging, minimum requirements: 266 MHz, 32 MB RAM,
Win95, 800x600 screen resolution, serial port (or USB to Serial adapter cable)

I'm curious, what are you doing that that can't control?
Does it have the flash port mod? What else is added to it (I can't figure out what combination from their website adds up to over $450)?

Re: DynamicEFI.com EBL Flash programmable ECU w/port mod for TPI cars
I'm putting in a twin turbo LS engine. The EBL could possibly control the fuel but I would have to run a special MSD box to control the spark so I find it easier to use a factory computer...
EBL ECU $430
Port mod $25
Cable $30
Total: $485 Plus Shipping.
