$58 code change
Hi..
How difficult would it be to add (or convert) a constant for "Min MPH enable Knock retard" into $58 code?
I have no exp. about doing code changes by myself......

While anything is almost possible, it's best to solve mechanical problems with mechanical solutions, FWIW.
You might try just setting the attack rate to 0, at the lower RPM range and see if that solves your problem. Or set the decay rate really high.
;0x031C F6_TABLE ESC Attack Rate vs RPM (NTRPMX)
; Deg/ms | 0 1600 3200 4800 6400
; ---------------------------------------
; Deg./ms)| 0.18 0.18 0.11 0.18 0.18

FCB 8

;0x0322 F7_TABLE ESC % Recovery Rate vs RPM (NTRPMX)
; %/Sec. | 0 1600 3200 4800 6400

I have to second Grumpy's thoughts. However, if all else fails, a constant can be added relatively easily. I can't speak for the $60 mask. But, I'd have no problems putting this into the changes I have in the "$59" mask.

During wheelspin it pulls timing, but only during wheelspin. So I though putting a mph limit so I can spin through first gear without KR would be neat......
I have already changed the decay rate.. I got better but it still pulls alot of timing during wheelspin....
Ive tried to back of the timing and I'm 100% sure it is false knocks because I get them as soon as the tires brake loose...

If you're having problems with wheel hop, then I'd also look at curing that first.
If you keep the timing high, and worsen the wheelhop/ spin, you might get to where you start breaking drivetrain parts.

Yeah.... I'm trying to cure the damn thing
cant find whats causing it ...
I will try enable burst knock to see if that helps, there is plenty of torque so I guess I can "loose" some timing ... Wonder how she goes with the F1 on
ps. Installed my p/h injectors a few hours ago... after "some" tuning its OK to drive but I need to do some major tweaking, it wasent so easy as just cut the values to half ( went way to lean and AE sucked biggtime )
I also think ECM goes to Quasi mode after a while on idle because BPW starts to jump up and down, but needed to charge the battery on my laptop so I'll try changeing some thing tomorrow............ I'm glad I have a romulator and RT tuning
