'85 eprom install?

Which way is the notch supposed to point? I can't seem to find any references to it.

nm, thank i figured it out... There is a 1 with a circle around it on the EPROM holder which I guess means pin 1 and I think the notch in the EPROM is where you start your number count (you start at the first pin clockwise of the notch right?).

Looking at the bottom of the chip pin one is the first clockwise from the notch. The holder is keyed to the socket.
