how much AE with Stealth Ram?

just curious how much ae people have added with their stealth rams. I have a slight surge on low rpms off idle sometimes and have added as much as 60% to the delta tps multiplier and 30% to the delta map multiplier tables. It is better than it was but I'm wondering if I should be looking at timing instead or if I need to add more ae. All I have to tune with at the moment is an auto x-ray scanner, hoping to get a laptop and a wideband this winter, any help to get it a little closer for now would be greatly appreciated!

I added a tiny bit of AE with my Stealth rammed 327, I'll have to look at my bin to see what I did. Curious to see what others did as well. With stock AE there were still no driveability problems, no surging on tip in or anything. I'm MAF btw.

Try both, and then various combos of both. Engines will tell you exactly what they want. Then it usually takes just a little tweaking from there to satisfy your driving style.

Small changes, take notes, look for trends. That works every time........

AE is a factor of the plenum/runner surface area after the injector and the volume of air after the throttle body. Those 2 factors change your AE requirements but the code is sometimes "dumb". Example; in some masks the AE is done with pulse width. So if you install larger injectors or increase fuel pressure, change the injector constant, the AE will still be changed! You'll have more AE now than before because it's just firing the injector x usec.
If you have a large plenum like the shoe box you're running then I'd add more AE. Only about 20% more and start from there.

Others with similar symptoms have found they were lean
in that map & rpm area.
Also, I'd think that with the MT, you'd want to have tried more delta map, not delta TPS. So your 60tps/30map tune might be better if it were the other way around.

Since your hardware limited, you might try cruising in 2nd or 3rd gear at 1200 rpm and try to duplicate the symptoms
while watching your o2 volts. This would rule out AE.
Make sure your not in PE though.
