just thought id let u guys know ive been reading on here for over a month and decided to just quit thinking about it and go for it...a couple of days ago i ordered a moates burner, and yesterday got a free 250mhz laptop w/ serial port witch i have win. 98 installing on as i type. i also have a set of heads im goin to start porting on this weekend and a lt1 cam in the top of my closet for my l03...now i do still need my headers and intake but i am on my way....i just hope the lockers board comes out sooner than later...just thought i would let u guys know that all the annoying questions ive been asking wasnt just someone just asking for the sake of knowing its cause i wanted to see if i thought i could swing it. im still pretty much shooting in the dark but i think once i datalog my mostly stock car w/ the stock chip i will see whats goin on. thanks

Smartest move you could ever make doing it was to investigate and leanr about ti before u tried it .

Second best thing u did is attempting to learn it on a stock setup in a stock car.

Lot easier to learn that way and u always have a driveable backup bin.

yup lets hope so....i will start to datalog soon after this weekend and get used to the datalogging part. then i will check out what the blms are and adjust VE accordingly. the try and jump back and forth between spark and VE to try and see if i can run a stock setup better. we will see how it goes its alot to take in but im very intersted and willing to learn. i still need to get an adapter for the new chips though and some chips not sure which adapter to get though because they have zif, dip, and then another adapter and some have diff. spacings etc..thanks
