chip burning,prom burning

im very interseted,but everyone says to read a lot but i cant seem to find the articles on how to do chip,prom burning.so im very confused, someone please help im going to build my first 383 in my 1989 IrocZ 5spd tbi ,so any help now would be greatly apprecited....... Help....

Look at the stickies at the top of this forum. Read the one titled "The Prom Tuning Guide Book and FAQ: Common Questions and Answers". By the time you finish that, and read all the links, you'll have enough knowledge to for reasonable search "queries" to root out more. That's basically where I am... but still so much too learn that it's a bit daunting...
