Disable VATS in $58?
Under TunerCat, I've got a switch for VATS Diagnostic (which I have unselected) but I think I have the VATS system disabling my fuel injectors - car fires right up, runs about 2 seconds, and dies. Fires right back up again.
'88 Camaro, running a '730 repinned to a '749, $58 code
LOL, meant to ask - where might I find the bit to disable the VATS system? Looks like I might have to do this the hex route

I just did an $8D swap to $58. To start the engine I did minimal changes to the original BBZB $58 bin. All I changed was the BPC vs. EGR tables to a value of 100 by using the equation I found searching DIY PROM.
The car was very rich at idle. The DIY WBO2 read about 12:1 AFR. I removed about 20%+ of fuel at idle.
Your setup could be rich or lean. That is probably what is causing the stall.

Make sure you put a 2-bar map in it if using a stock BBZB. It will be real rich if you use a 1-bar. Just thought I would mention it because it is easy to forget.
