I haven't found a definite answer, and so far can't get any of my burned chips to work in my 7747, $42 ecm.

When you pull the factory bin off the chip, is it a 2732 or a 2732a? Pocket Programmer II pulls them both, and they look fine in tuner pro.

Thought I'd ask for clarification.

I started with akaj1147.bin and "burned" the chip. Ran fine. But I never tried the factory bin because I messed up the chip.

 

This is on a 3/4 350 one of this 4.3 things. Hehe My daily driver that I just swapped vortec heads and an edelbrock intake onto.

V8 bin would take a while to convert too.

So I had some spare chips I got from the yard an APAL bin along with another AMRW and a AWDR. All from an 8062 computer. My computer flashes SES on all but the APAL!

So I pulled the bin, stacked it with tunerpro(4k bin/32kchip/4kswitch), burned it to one of my AT29C256 and tried to run it. Doesn't work.

Tried reading it from 2732 and 2732a stacking the likes and still nothing.

When putting the chip in on a TBI car 24 pin... the would be top 4 pins (2x2) at the notch/arrow... hang off the computer socket, towards the limp home chip.

If that's the case, I must have 3 bad chips or my programmer doesn't work.

The chips have been around for about 2 years. Used them many times on my TPI before I went Commander. Been sitting in a case since, nothing near them.



Edit: Got my buddies old adapter(switch lever broke off, but adapter still worked). Tried all 3 of my chips again, no luck. Tried his programmer, no luck. Tried an older version of tuner pro, other bins, other ecus, no luck.

Must be the chips. Order new tomorrow.
