tunercat RT

i just started to try to use tunercat. i am using a 165 ecm. with a 6e bin def. my question is when i open up tunercat it is telling me that the ECM is 42. is this right. i cant open my bin up. i have the updated 6e def. but how do i open it up to change the ecm from 42 to read the 6e bin. thanks

Well,

u need to have the $6E def file, which from the sound of it you do :-)

After that, when u open up TunerCat, look up at the top where it says ecms and click on it.

If u have the $6E file with the other TDF's it should be listed under there.

Just clikc on it instead and open a $6E bin

hey jeremy when i open tunercat and up by the ecm on the tool bar it doesnt allow me to change it. the ECM doesnt give me the option to click on it.

U need to have the $6E file in the same place as tunercat has the TBI file located, think it $42 or something close.

Relocate your $6E tdf there.

If its not seeing the more than one ecm option as available, u either dont have the correct $6E tdf or u have it in the wrong location

thanks jeremy, i will try it when i get home. i know that i have the file cause tunercat just send me the update via email. i unziped it and i guess i must have placed it in the wrong file. thanks. i will let you know

I still do it now and then when I have to move files or rebuild a PC and go where are my friggin files! lol
