Can I change my prom Id's on my bin file to $AA to get away from the checksum? I read that If your prom Id at $004 was $AA that it meant that the program was considered to be engineering code / mode and would scip the checksums.
Also when I check my readings on my car/truck/jeep with my ez-scan 3000 it gives me a prom id #, is that the # in decimal or what? Cant remember but one was like 1021 or something close to it.Thanks in advance for any info in advance.

You can run AA, but I'd strongly suggest you don't. It can catch some errors, and in the long run save LOTS of time dancing around trying to figure out what's wrong.Originally posted by jeeps2creep
