Bin difference numbers/ what are the extra locations?

Hello all , just wanted to see when you a difference check between 2 bin files what are the items thats are different but not explained. HMMMMM.......OK when I do a diff check it gives me the diffs between ; tables, constants and flagsbut at the same time it gives me the definitions to what is what for these items ,such as prom id and number of cylinders but it does not say what the other code is in between. It gives the code in a 2 byte hex and says it is a differece and that is it. Is this just code for the ecm? It seems like it is not that important because it has not been identified. But would just like to know. Thanks in advance for any info.

Depends,
It can be a cal difference or a code difference.
You'd have to get a hac for that bin and look.
If you have little sections of blue between defined sections.
It is an undefined (in the xdf) area of the cal.
Once you go so far and it is all blue, then you are into the code area of the bin.

Thats exactly where its at , in the XDF that is. I took a $AO xdf in tuner pro and then used the compare tool and looked at a stock $AO file along side my modified $AO file and and the code in question was in blue between the primary tables , flags and constants. I guess I'll have to find a "ao" hac and then look some more. Is this really a major deal though? Or should I just focus on the primary stuff? The main reason is I keep reading and in several other articles some folks make other tweaks to different parts of the prom to make it better than to just edit the primary stuff. As always thanks in advance for any info
