Simple ? on VATS
Using TunerCat, with a '91 Firebird ($8D), if I un-check the VATS box do I disable the VATS??? Is it that simple?

Just to clarify, It will remove the need for the VATS output to the ECM (enabling fuel) Engine will start if cranked.
If you have a start interrupt relay that operates from the VATS it is another issue. ECM does not run it, the VATS module does.

What years and where is this start interrupt relay located?
My GTA sometimes just wouldn't crank once warmed up, so I'd hotwire it under the hood (key on, and put +12V to the thick purple wire near the passenger side injectors).
I never had time to diagnose if it was VATS, P/N switch, Ignition switch problem, or whatever, but I'll be back in Cali soon for a short stint, and wouldn't mind spending some time to get that straightened out.
