30.00 for a pocket programmer 2 wall adapter?

My wall adapter is bad, so i found one on Transtronics website for 12.00. Not a bad deal...but with 8.00 shipping thats 20.00. Ok.. but i go to check out and there is a low order fee of 10.00.

30.00... where can i get one that will work? Dont they have to be a certain voltage or something? I have a spare setup but want to have two working programmers.

Mike

Radio Shack? Any electonics store? Just make sure you have the polarity correct (the original adapter should have polarity indication).

I'm just guessing but if you ask really nicely Xtronics would probably waive the $10 "low order" charge if you originally bought the PPII from them. They're a small company and are very customer focused.

It is probably just the 2.5mm (2.1mm ???) connector. The use cheap power supplies. Mine went bad to. It was a broken wire at the connector. Un-screw the power supply plastic piece on the wiring the plugs into the PP. I bet a wire is broke.

EDIT: Radio Shack sells the 2.5mm connectors if the wire at the plug is broke.
