Problem reading stock chip

I've been trying to read the stock prom for my '86 and it keeps coming back with garbage. I've tried 3 or 4 times and the garbage is always different, but still garbage.

I'm using the Moates HDR1 adaptor with the flash and burn program. I've successfully burned several test bins, and everything seems to be working properly.

The bcc on the chip is ANY3234

there are other numbers on the chip as well ;

69300
D 5012A
and
L636377SX

I plugged these numbers into the search and got no results

I chose the 27c128 chip. Is this the right one? There aren't too many options in the software.

When you say garbage, what kind of garbage? Also can you save the bin to your computer?

I figured it out, I mistakenly plugged the usb cable into the wrong port which assigned it to com 8 instead of 3, I just tried again, and saved a perfect copy of my stock bin.

Post that up on Craig's site if you would.
I don't believe there is one there when I looked for you.
i'm sure someone else could use it too.

It's already there, that is the one I used to compare mine to.

Go to: Stock binaries>> gmecm>>>1227165 >>> 32. It's the first entry.
