can't get speedo right after gear change
can't get speedo right after gear change
i am working on a 1993 lt1 firebird
i have changed the value in the road constant table which
got the action of the tcc lock up at the correct speeds ..
i tried to change the instrument panel vss table to get the
gauge to read correct but when i changed the value the
engine won't stay running . i change the value back and
the car runs fine .
is this the correct table to work in or is there somewhere else ?

The only way to fix this is different gears in the tranny or a Dakota Digital conversion box. Lot's of folks have looked (can see that by searchig) and this is always the end result.
