Moates adapter -GP1

On the Intro to PROM Burning by Traxion, when he installed an adapter into the MemCal he cut off the extra pins on the adapter to make a total of 28 pins. On the Moates.net GP1 Package, there are 40 pins. Do you also cut the extra pins off to equal 28 when installing it into the Memcal?

Install memcal onto G1 with chips lined up so the new ZIF socketis where the original chip is.
Put your "new" burned chip in the ZIF and go.
