Single POP when you rev and let off, or decel, only when car is hot and in CL. Lean?
Hi guys, something I have noticed on my stealth rammed 327 with MAF as I am driving it more frequently. When the car has been up to operating temp for a while, if you rev it in neutral and let off you get a single POP out the exhaust (not a backfire, but a noticeable single pop). You get this same pop decelerating, only when the car is very warmed up. I am running decel enleanment and decel fuel cutoff and my vss works. The car does not do this when it is colder. Do you think it is a lean pop or a too-rich pop?

I wouldn't worry about it. I'm thinking that you're hearing fuel explode in the exhuast just at cutoff. Some fuel on the manifold walls stripping off and not burning in the chamber, but then hitting a hot manifold or header and exploding (possibly aggrivated by a small exhaust leak).
