15 degress Timing

Hi All,
I'm all about tuning my spark table. I have my lower RPMs at about +15 degress then about 4-6+ in my mid rpm and highest RPMs about -2 degress and under heavy loads i'm not to advanced if none or -. little more complex then that but anyway, Why do i run so rich at idle? at Idle I'm advacned about 15 degress. I tried going 10% below normal for fuel( MAF tables), but it still runs to rich. am i messing something here. i thought with more advance timing it would be running very lean . not sure how to fix this issue. besides that my fuel tables read normal. is it my data logger adding more fuel when i plug it in and tricking me? because the car seems to idle higher when i plug in the data logger. please help. this really killin me. i'm thinking about just running my normal MAF tables again because it seems faster of the line.

I'm not knocking or anything. i'm totally data loggin it. all seems well but at idle something is telling it to run rich. I can't seem to figure it out. From 0-1200 RPM i'm at 15 degress with no knock. but the silly thing wants to stall out. is it to much compression?

Well, not sure about your rich problem, but sounds like you're seeing the effects of ALDL Spark adder when the RPMs come up when datalogging. It adds 10degrees without you knowing it. Set that to 0 degrees.

Idle spark advance should be about 20 degrees total.
WOT should go from about 10 at low RPMs, to 30 or more by about 3200 RPM.
Low Load should go from 20 or so at idle to 40+ at 3200 RPM.
Blend between low rpm and high rpm. Then blend between low load and high load.
These are general guidelines for almost any stock-ish N/A setup.

Ignition timing has SOME effect on afr (although I don't see much effect), but don't expect it to fix a MAF table issue.

yo lost me bro, well not really lost me but i think i should explain better.. can i paste my stock spark table and my mod spark table? I'll show you what i've done.

I was under the impression that what i've do is good from all the reading and testing over the many years, but let me see what your eyes think about it. once i get home tonight i'll paste the tables and please let me know what you think.

It runs like a champ this way, i have a little knock but not to much from stock to tell you the truth Seems like when i try to pull out timing i pull to much and cause a little weakness. anyway i paste it tonight. thanks again.
