Need help with new setup
Need help with new setup
I just got my burn1 unit from moates. Car is 1991 camaro RS 305 l03. ecm is 8746 and i put a jet stage II chip in about 8 years ago. I've got the stock chip and on the sticker says ANTT. I read the chip and used the 61.xdf for tuner pro and opened the bin. If I click on things like PROM ID, or # of cylinders the data isn't correct. I also tried with a stock ANTT from moates with the same problems. I'd like to compare my stock with the jet chip to better understand the configuration differences. Any suggestions?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Took a quick look at it
I'd say to read the chip the same way you do the aftermarket one and compare them that way.
(to be sure anyway)
Actually looking at the bin in a hex editor indicates it doesn't start until $1000.
The bin is offset to that address but the XDF's were not.
In the XDF header info, change the base offset to 1000.
Looks much better.
