165 - 730 swap, oil temp?

Anyone happen to know if the '730 has a input for oil temp? I wanna repin my vette to a '730 next week, and forgot until now that the vette has a few extra inputs.

Is the '730 and '727 basicly identical as far as pinouts, or does the '730 loose a few inputs/drivers ?

A 727 is just a water resistant version of a 730.
Hmm, maybe just pull the PCBs out of the two ecms and compare the traces to see where they line up, pin wise.

I'd do that, but I don't have a '727 in my possession, and I figured rather than buy one I'd ask on here if someone knew.

"F12" would be the one.
350 ohm pull up, "U6-channel 1
Code already exists in AUJP for the temp and outputs in the standard datastream as word 38.

Hrmm.. I can't seem to find which pin on the 165 it is. I wonder if on the MAF cars, the oil temp is just wired to the gauge?

You are correct.. the 165 does not have an Oil Temp input, it is just the gauge on the dash. the sensor is also different on the 90-91 7727 cars.. it is a 3 wire.. I found that out swapping from a 89 to 91 dash and electronics

Hope that helps
