Speedometer not working. 7730 engine harness swap problems.

My car had a TBI engine from the factory. When I replaced the engine harness with a TPI harness and a 7730 ($58 chip) the speedometer no longer works. I have a new speed sensor for a manual transmission. I tried both magnetic and optical VSS flags in the chip. Could it be the wrong VSS? Can someone recommend a part number for the correct one? or is there a wire that doesn't hook up properly to the TBI dash from the TPI engine harness.

Also, my oil pressure gauge doesn't work anymore. It always reads max oil pressure (past 60psi). Its a factory replacement sender for a TBI.

I don't think the SES light is working either because it doesn't light up when I turn the key to on, but not start the car (no ref pulse).

They all worked fine before I switched over. The car was originally an automatic. The 7730 harness is from an automatic. My car is a 92 camaro. the TPI engine harness was from a 91 transam.

Thanks in advance

Check the pin outs of the C100 connector. IIRC there are a few that are different.

Did you remove the speed buffer?
And connect the brown wire to the ECM?

What is the C100? Is that the clear one the goes toward the driverside near the ecm connectors? How should they be pinned?

No, I'd never heard of that. I must have missed that in the stickies.

Which pin do I connect the brown wire?

If I've missed an entire post on this please help me find the link.
