Curious - anyone have/seen that TPS enhancer that you can plug inbetween TPS & ECM

Curious - anyone have/seen that TPS enhancer that you can plug inbetween TPS & ECM
No I have not bought one, but I have been asked about it. I like all the advertizing it gets.
I take it that these devices just change the reference of the TPS or change how quickly it goes to WOT. The ads claim that it helps the "bog".
Anyone with a scaner monitored this?
... no I don't want to copy it, or make my own. I am just curious to the effects of adjusting the TPS in this manner.
What would happen if the ECM never thought the TPS was at full throttle? I had thought it ingores some of the sensors at WOT.
