E-Prom Programmer Suggestions

I am new at this TPI stuff and i am wanting to trick out my 86 camero, and i don't like to send stuff out if I can do it myself. My question is can anyone reccomend a good, and easy "PROM" programmer. My dad is an electrical engineer and he has all of the stuff to burn the PROM, but we need a goo program.

I sugged you get to know your CamEro first.... since you obviously dont even know how to spell the name of your car I doubt you know anything about cars, yet alone burning chips. To get your started though go read the PROM burning article in the "Tech Articles" section of this site.

Take it easy Blade. There's a good way to be a teacher and a bad way to be a teacher.

Maybe blade should install a grammer check for his posts "to get your started though"? Everybody makes mistakes dude!
Besides maybe 3rd gens should be camero since they are the most aEROdynamic so far (hehe).

GMEPro, and Tunercat are good editors for what you have www.tunercat.com has a demo you can play with
but you need to snag a bin to use it.
At the DIY_EFI site there was a demo version of GMEPro You have to dig around I forget the file name.
You might consider going with the 89 code, reading some of the posts will explain why.
