TRAXION (or anyone): Need help on MAP output
TRAXION (or anyone): Need help on MAP output
I'm in need of some help with a college paper I'm writing, and I hoped you PROM guys could help me.
I'm doing a paper on the speed density systems, in particular the MAP sensor. I need to know all the engineering parameters like response time, output range (in Volts?), etc.
I figure since you guys look at the scan tools more than anyone, you'd know what the sensor sends to the computer.
Also, if anyone knows where I could get really techinical stuff like +/- error% on its accuracy that would be fantastic.
Any help would REALLY be appriciated.

Got me
I just know what my scan tool tells me (20kPa - 100kPa). But, I am positive that there is much more to it than that. I just haven't had the motivation to look into things like that yet. Too busy working on other stuff. However, I would search the GMECM / DIY archives to look for the information.

Look for files that indicated '*archives*.zip'
