burn a chip for a modified LG4...

do I need to burn a chip for my modified lg4, will it help more than a generic "performance" chip, or a L69 chip?? My mods are: mild cam 206/214, similar to a performer cam from edelbrock, slp headers, 3" cat and dynomax exhaust. 3.73 psi rear, slp shift kit, modifed secondaries, hanger and rods from zz4 kit. L69 dual snorkle, Accel 300 ignition. thanks guys.....

Get the instructions from the ZZZ retrofit, in there are the part numbers for the best ecm/ prom number to run.
At one time I had bought all of the chips available for the LG4, and when optimized running that chip with a 195 thermostat, with a 220 ohm resistor in line with the Coolant temp sensor. Also, try to find the AV or use the DR secondary metering rods, and get a copy of Doug Roes Q-Jet book.
Beleive it or not the secondaries open too far for optimime performance. With 190K miles on my LG4 was running 15.1s, and it was really tired....
