WARNING ... WARNING....

Warning: The information presented within the confines of this message board is presented for educational purposes only. Use of this information is at your own risk. Please be advised that changes to a car's stock computer programming can have very serious detrimental consequences to both your car and your car's parts. But, more importantly, the detrimental consequences can extend to those individuals in the car as well as innocent bystanders outside the car. Again - and this cannot be emphasized enough - use of ANY and/or ALL information on this list is at your own risk. All information is offered for educational purposes only. If you choose to use this information to change the programming in your automobile then you do so at your own risk and at your car's risk. YOU are SOLELY responsible for any and all negative aspects that may arise out of reprogramming your car's EPROM. Also, be aware of your emissions laws and be aware that changes to the car's stock computer chip can cause your car to no longer be compliant with State and Federal emissions guidelines.

Just wanted to remind everyone here about the possible negative consequences of changing the calibration of your automobile's stock EPROM. This type of warning is necessary from time to time due to the society in which we live. That is the price to pay for having this board open to the general public as opposed to being a private board.

Also - if you are erasing EPROMs then remember to wear your UV safety goggles. You can go blind by staring at the UV light that exists in the EPROM erasers!
