Just got a demo version, man there is alot of **** to mess with. It seems like its gonna be a good setup. Just wish they would hurry up and release the ecms.

Hope it works for you. I am sure that once you get that ecm programmed right, that your car will perform like you expect. Too bad you don't have an SD 730 ecm, I could have offered more advice on that eprom.

 

Thanks glenn. I looked into all the diyefi and other related sights and couldnt find to much on the 165. I know people have had sucess with them but I can see that little maf flowing enough air for 10 sec passes. I figure that if I was going to switch ecm's im gonna go with something that supports a wide band. Its narrowed down to speed pro or gen7 accel. Ill have the money within the next month so if accel isnt done by then ill have a speedpro.

I'll stick to the GM crap anytime. LOL
I carry a spare ecm just for grins, say a battery dies, and AAA shows and the guy just mentally sneezes for an instant, and zaps your car. Oooops. For me I call em a jerk swap ecms, and drive away, what do you do?.

I don't know if they gave me one, if I'd put in the time with it.
It can't do anything better then what I got and usually they can't match GN stuff.
Running 9s well that is another matter.
