AXXD Knock test
It appears that the knock test is disabled in AXXD by default, can someone confirm? It's supposed to be at $29C and I get FF (255) effectivly disabling the test initiation.

That looks to be true.
There is also a Min MAP for the test at 29D = FF (disable)
the stock values in AUJP 29C = "B4" or 95*C, and 29D = "4B" or 75 Kpa setting to enable the test.
The amount of SA that is incrementally added for the test is at
29B ( = "$01" or 0.35 deg SA)
The maximum advance for the test is at 29E = $47 or 25* SA
