'89 PORM
'89 PORM
Can I just put a '89 PROM in my '88 car without any tuning? Is the '89 PROM better than the '88? Will the new PROM give me fuel enrichment during cold start (my coldstart valve is long gone, and it takes a while to start)?

Yes, you can, assuming it is for the same application (350TPI/A4 in your case). The '89 code is a slightly better calibration, especially the ARAP bin, and it already has the open loop chart set up for cold-start enrichment (ie: the correct values are already there).
