Hypertech?
Just found out that one of my car's previous owners put a hypertech in there...probably explains the 20*-36* BTDC timing! Does this still "count" gas the GM 1227165? If not how can I tell what it "counts" as. Also, how can I tell what they did? I would like to know what else may not be stock in my car! (cam? heads?
)
Thanks

I have no idea what you mean by that sentence. If you mean is your ecm stock, yes, just the eprom isn't. You have an "off-the-shelf" eprom that really doesn't do much.

Just wanting to make sure that it will work with 1227165 scan tools/software. I know the POS acctron scanner shows 0 tps voltage all the time, even though a DMM shows otherwise. Just wondering if one of the previous owners may have done anything else that the chips program could show evidance of.
