TPI conversion, no crank, no fuel pump.
I've just performed a TPI retrofit into a 1986 Firebird S/E that was a CCC car.
The wiring system is a 1985 TPI repinned for speed density. I am using a 730 ecm with AUJP memcal from GMPD. I've installed a wire harness form a 1987 v6 fuel injected car inside as well.
The fuel pump relay clicks on, and off, but the fuel pump does not run. Also the starter relay clicks, but the starter does not engage. Is the AUJP memcal looking for VATS?
Where are some good places to start looking for power so I can get er running?

Check the wires at the starter. Maybe you reversed them?

Are you sure it is a 87 dash harness. I did not think that they had a starter relay. Or are you talking about the starter soleniod on the starter. And the AUJP memcal would be looking for VATS.
The fuel pump won't continue to run until the motor is cranking.
The ecm turns it on for a few seconds then stops it to pressurize the system.
Then once the ecm see's the dist. turning it will turn the FP on again.
Jumper the starter solenoid between the large terminal and the small one.
If it cranks fine, you don't have a power to the starter problem.
Which means it's your key switch, neutral switch, or the connecting wiring.
Assuming your car doesn't have a vats starter module.
And you will need to disable vats on your chip.

the solenoid on the starter. I'm glad to hear that the AUJP memcal is looking for VATS while I have it apart. I've been having issues with my pocket programmer not being found by my PC... guess that's the next thing to do.
