I just started using dfi and I am having trouble installing an engine program, that someone sent me, into the ecm. It keeps saying "path not found".
The program is on a disc right now. Do I use edit file or ecm? How do I put this program into the calmap so that I can get it into the ecm. Any help would be great. Thanks

There should be a file in your c drive for all your engine programs. I would copy it from the disk to that part of the c drive. Then you should have a function for " program ecu from a file"

First you must copy the file into the "C:\Calmap\unvrsl" folder.

If you want to make sure you correctly copied the file then start calmap and choose "edit file" (you don't need to be connected to the ecu to do this) and when prompted for the filename just enter the name of the file you copied into the "unvrsl" directory.

To download to the ecu, start up calmap and turn the ignition key forward without starting the car. Now choose "edit ECU". Next, after you establish a link to the ecu, choose "Global" and then "program all ecu tables from a file", when prompted for the filename enter it just as you did before (offline)
