DIS for our cars? Does it exist?
This might be a little off topic for this board but i figured i'd get a better response here. Anyway, Is there such a thing as DIS or some kind of non-distrib. ignition system for our cars? Nothing that i'd try but i was just curious if there was such a thing and what it looked like.

Northstars have a DIS, but lots of machining.
Electromotive does from time to time make a LT1 to DIS kit.
LS1 CNP closest to being resonably doable, but at $40 per coil adds up.
Electromotive makes a drop in small block chevy kit with DIS and injector controller all in one. Basically it's a crank triggered SD system. A buddy of mine is working on a project to setup an Electromotive kit on his 3.4L V6 (in an S-10 Blazer). When I finally build the big block for my 87 Camaro strip car it will have an Electromotive kit on it.
