2732 EPROMS won't erase with DATARASE II
I can't seem to get my 2732's to erase at all. I left them in the eraser overnight and still nothing. Is there something I'm missing. I programmed one and put it in and it works fine. But I can't get any of them to erase. I got 2 pulls from Digikey and 2 new ones from Jameco. and none of them will erase. Anyone have any ideas?

You have to remove the sticker before erasing.
Sorry, couldn't resist. Actually, I've bought bad EPROMs that only last one write/erase cycle.
If you read one to the buffer after erasing what do you get?

Well, the stickers are definately gone.two of them are new, and the other two are pulls and none of them seem to erase. I'm not using my stock one at all. I guess I'll be getting a couple new ones. Any suggestions on suppliers?

Check to make sure the light is actually coming on. My light has a small metal ball bouncing around inside the bulb and I thought it wasn't going to work. You need to take the door off and the eraser needs to think the door is closed (little safety switch at the very tip). If the light is working then you definatly are having problems. My chips only take 15 minutes to clean.

Yes, at this point I'm definately having problems. I'm going to buy new chips somewhere. Where is everyone getting your chips from? Jameco is the only place I've been able to find new chips but they run at 450ns and I have some of those and they don't work at all so i don't want to go with them. Any ideas?
