Would Anyone be interested in a web site that would be a free for all exchange for their PROM data??? IE have all stock PROM data, and have people submit & share their modified working PROM information.

Or does this already exist and I have not found it??? This would be a free service...

It's down at the moment but it already exists, at DIY_EFI.ORG

I would strongly recomment NOT sharing DIY bin files, once you get to customing a chip really well for a specific combo., it's about useless for anyone elses combo.. I been down the slippery slopes of that before. that and it gets way from DIYOURSELF. Short cutting the learning curve will make for lousy learning.
There are just so many things that interact, that you can get in wayyyyy too much trouble too easy coping or even using part of someone else work.

Listen to what Grumpy has said.
Although you have a GREAT idea. Copying somebodies bin or even going over their tables may "help" but you don't know why they did what they did so your basically looking at hyrogliphics(spelling?).
I tried to use Mike Davis's latest bin. It worked fairly well right off his page but came to find out that i was wasting time. I used some of his values(maybe 10% of them). I basically ended up by going back to a stock 90vette chip(copying those tables and then tweaking them from their).

I was wondering about that, it does seem to make sense Is there a place for all the "Stock" values, and possibly the Hyperchip, Jet & other BIN's as well???

I started archiving stock TPI bins by broadcast
code (BCC) instead of by ECM type like on
the DIY archive. It's not the greatest
list, but its a start.

(I won't archive commercial bins and don't
think they should be.. My motto is " Commercial
chip companies are in the business of selling
chips, GM is in the business of selling cars")

YMMV
