getting rid of code 33

Just wondering if there was an easy way to get rid of this code. Could I just raise the MAF vs RPM to max(255)? or would that just set a MAF sensor too low code? is there somewhere in the bin that I can modify?(if anyone knows the address it would be helpful). By the way it is 6E.

------------------
355 10:1 , AFR 190 heads, LT4 HOT cam w/ 1.6 roller rockers, complete Superram intake, 58mm BBK TB, 24# injectors, screens out of MAF, MAT relocated, March underdrive pulleys, Streetdampner, Crane HI-6 ignition, 160 thermostat, K&Ns, TES headers(Jet hot coated), Mufflex 4' cat back, B&M shift Kit, 2500 converter, and 3.27s. Chip is custom(doing it myself) Just got a 2 1/2 Harwood and soon to be painted.

First make sure that your throttle blades are adjusted right-it makes a big diff. And if your iac isn't working (like mine was) it'll set the code every two blocks! I have my iac counts at about 30 at idle, and it will rarely set the dreaded 33. Are you using tunercat? If you change the MAF diag. its not going to help. I e-mailed tunercat about the problem and told them that when I was using the 32 def. file it had a maf high diag. threshold in the ecm constants that I'd turned up before and it prevented the code 33. Within 2 days they had sent me an updated 6E with it in there-I've since changed my 6E with it and voila-no more **** code 33!

So are you saying that I should get a new tdf from tunercat with a switch to turn off code 33? Im a little unclear on what your trying to say.

Do a search. There's a thread that says how to change the >45gps at <2000rpm limit.

You need to change the MAF diagnostic table settings if there isnt another problem of some sort with your car. The table is easily accessible if you have tunercat. What is happening is its cross referencing the diagnostic table with the actual flow reading from the MAF and the actual flow is too low. I played around with this on the 32B code which has even worse settings than the 6E stock and got rid of the problem that way.

[/QUOTE Basically, yes. Then you don't turn it off, you just increase the gm/sec. threshold for the code 33 to set.

I maxed that table and still got code 33, so I had to find the addresses and modify an ecu file to change the >45gps at <2000rpm diagnostic.

Does win bin have anything to edit this MAF gm/sec count vs. diagnostic setting?

Why would the flow be too low? Although i did some porting i left the maf alone. I do have a larger cam. I find that cooler (denser) air sets off the code 33 very easily. I have to make sure the car is warmed up before driving.
