Open loop rough idle, right after startup

This is driving me nuts. I have a accell superram, 36lb injectors, 1000 cfm throttle body and the engine is a 383. I am using winbin. I have adjusted open loop afr vs coolant temp, start up enrichment(choke) and open loop afr vs map nothing helps. It still run very rich and rough. closed loop runs perfect. please help.

Adjust the lower VE table in the idle region using methods already outlined in the P730 post on programming part throttle fuel. You shouldn't really have to modify those tables that you mentioned too much (if at all). The lower VE table will take care of it all. In fact, even with my big 230/245 cam that only pulls 70kPa at idle I didn't modify anything except for the lower VE table and it idles perfect (albeit with a nice lope)

All Natural. No Force. No Drugs. Stock Bottom End. Stock Body Panels.
Gunning for NA 11's with bigger cam, bigger stall, and bigger exhaust.

Tim,
I don't understand how being in Open loop that the Lower VE table will help? I have my lower VE table down pretty well at closed loop idle.. But my open loop is a little rough also(more than usual of course). Wouldn't you use the Open loop Coolant temp and Open loop vs Map tables?

My open loop idle isn't perfect either. I've got a 165. I've had to juggle OL fuel, cold spark, and commanded idle to get things close.

With the 730 the car still uses VE for fuel calculations in open loop. It just can't *correct* for errors in the VE value because the O2 sensor isn't ready (hence the reason for open loop). The open loop table is used to determine the correction factor. However, if the VE is where it needs to be then you don't need to alter the correction.
