Cold Start injector
OK, as you have figured out I own an 87 TPI with the Cold start Injector. I have installed and am running a modified 89 ARAP BIN and was wondering if it was necessary to unplug the cold start inj. I have not as of yet and it has not given me any fits...

You should unplug the cold start injector, even better would be to pull the 3 amp fuse from your fuse panel. the best would be to pull the fuse and buy a 9th injector block kit. Your car will only use the 9th injector if it is below a certain temp. it may not have gotten that cold to effect the starting yet, but it may so i would pull the fuse.

When I first started using my modified ARAP bin on my 305, I just pulled the 3-amp fuse. I actually used the values in the Open Loop AFR vs. Coolant Temp table from my stock 305 bin instead of the ARAP, but it still worked OK, mainly because my car is parked in a garage that never gets below 40 deg. F in the winter.
A few months ago, I installed the block-off kit to get rid of the injector and little fuel line that were cluttering up the engine. Now with the 355 I just installed, I am using the Open Loop table from the ARAP bin, but modified to suit my engine better. Haven't had a cold-start or cold-running problem since day 1.

Ok, Why should I disconnect it? Will it flood the engine. BEFORE when I would disconnect the CSI it would hardly start, if at all, even when it was warm. SINCE I no longer NEED it, aaww heck, I guess I will stop asking and do it.

It won't flood the engine, but you'll be running to rich when the engine's cold if you have that connected and are using the Open Loop tables from the ARAP bin. Sounds like you need more fuel at lower temps in that Open Loop table...
